Welcome to FlightSim Rijnmond

        Our goal
'FlightSim Rijnmond' is a group of enthusiastic simulation pilots.
Our intent is to  support beginners and experienced simulation pilots.
The platform we offer is through
monthly meetings. At the monthly meetings we provide useful presentations projected on a large screen.
In addition, we follow-up on new developments in flight simulation and discuss these  actual developments on the spot.
FlightSim Rijnmond is affiliated with HCC-Zuid Holland.

        Programs and Add-ons
We use and have knowledge of FS2004, FSX, FSX Steam, MSFS2020, Aerofly FS2, Flightgear, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
Regarding the 'add-ons' we are being active with iFLY, PMDG, navigation systems such
as Plan-G, Aivlasoft (Electronic Flight Bag) and Flight Sim Commander (FSC).
Also programs that have the ability to improve  the look and performance of the flight simulator , are regularly used.

        Online flying
On a weekly basis  a number of members are online , for both VFR (Visual Flight Rules) and IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) questions.
Flying online is mostly linked to one of the two largest organizations IVAO and VATSIM. But also in virtual airline clubs such as 'V-Bird',
'Dutch Flight Network', 'KLM VA' and 'Transavia.com   airspace is chosen.
Every sunday evening we fly - low key - VFR
in the 'Sunday Evening Free Flight VFR Club'.
